Nightlife

A little delayed on the posting, but Tuesday night i went to a type of video festival...one of the guys who takes english at Bridge had made a documentary and invited us. or rather invited stephen (the only guy in our TEFL class) and he invited all of us. so it was interesting to say the least. we had to wait a little bit but when we got in there were three documentaries and then afterwards you were supposed to vote for whichever one you thing should win. one was about a lesbian couple and the other two were more political. anyways, after that was over we decided to go see what was happening around town, so we went to this area called Bellavista. it kinda starts happening around midnight so we were a bit early, but it was really fun to hang out with everyone. we just sat down at some tables outside and bought two 40´s of escudo (super popular here) and just sat for a while. twas fun.

have seen so far: a pizza hut, a mcdonalds, starbucks, and burger king. isnt it sad how americans are making the world lose its character?

walked around on wednesday and found the plaza ñuñoa which i know is gonna be awesome to go to on the weekend because its a huge spot full of tons of places where live music is played. so we´ll see i guess.

that is all. its cold here today again since it rained yesterday. boo. hopefully itll warm up tomorrow.
